Former President Trump will appear on the Colorado ballot ruled by a judge in November 2023.

Activists are currently filing lawsuits, arguing that the 14th amendment is clear and applies to every citizen of the United States. The Constitution "bars anyone who [has] engaged in insurrection or rebellion from serving in Public Office". However, this law does not seem to apply to Donald Trump in spite of his organized attack on the White House in 2020.
Activists argue that the law should also apply indiscriminately to all current and former presidents, despite their social status.
Despite the former President's dishonor of the 14th amendment back in 2020, Mr. Trump has been permitted to appear on the electoral ballots for the following states: Michigan, Minnesota, Colorado, New Hampshire, and Florida.
PENDING States: New York, Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Alaska, Montana, New Mexico, Kansas, Wisconsin, Vermont, Massachusetts, Virginia, South Carolina, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut, and New Jersey.
Is former President Trump being shown undue Mercy? Would he be fit to run a modern-day democracy during the year 2024?
